Stain Rescue ("we", "us") is a UK-based laundry and stain care brand, currently in pre-launch. Our first product line is Laundry Rescue. You can contact us at any time at trystainrescue@gmail.com.

When you use this website we may collect:

• Waitlist details — your email address, first name (optional), and optional survey answers (such as how much you'd pay and which product benefit matters to you).
• Campaign data — which page variant you saw and UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign) from the link you clicked.
• Usage data — pages viewed, button clicks, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected via cookies and similar technologies.

• To email you about our launch and early-access offers.
• To measure demand for our products before launch.
• To measure and improve the performance of our advertising.
• To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

We use the following tracking technologies:

• Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics — measures site traffic and how visitors interact with the page.
• Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) — measures the effectiveness of our ads and may be used to show you our ads on Meta platforms.

When you first visit, a cookie notice lets you accept or decline this tracking. Your choice is stored in your browser. You can also block cookies in your browser settings at any time.

• Consent — for waitlist emails and for analytics/advertising cookies.
• Legitimate interest — for essential site operation and security.

Waitlist data is stored securely on our cloud database provider (Lovable Cloud, powered by Supabase). Analytics and advertising data is processed by Google and Meta under their own privacy terms. Some processing may take place outside the UK; where it does, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) apply.

Waitlist emails are kept until launch and a reasonable period after, or until you ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained according to the defaults of the tools above (typically 14 months or less).

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Ask us to delete your data.
• Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. unsubscribe from emails).
• Complain to the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office) at ico.org.uk.

To exercise any of these rights, email trystainrescue@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

We may update this policy as we approach launch. The "last updated" date at the top will always show the current version.
